Terms of Use

This translation is provided for information. In case of discrepancy, the Dutch version prevails.

These terms govern the use of the AutoCheckIn app and service, offered by Aziri BV. By using the app, you agree to these terms.

Last updated: 26 July 2026

1. The service

AutoCheckIn is a service for the statutory attendance registration («Check In at Work») on Belgian construction sites. The app automatically registers when a user enters or leaves a site zone, with a QR code at the site entrance as an alternative. The service is offered to companies (contractors) that give their staff access to it.

2. Account and access

You sign in with your phone number using a one-time SMS code. You are responsible for keeping access to your device and account confidential. Report any loss or misuse as soon as possible to your company or to us.

3. Proper use

  • You use the app solely for your own attendance registration and not to falsify that of others.
  • You do not attempt to circumvent or manipulate the geofencing, QR scan or registration.
  • Correct automatic registration requires location permission («always») and notifications. Without these features, automatic clock-in/clock-out may not work and you will have to register manually.

4. Availability and accuracy

We do our utmost to keep the service reliable, but automatic registration partly depends on your device, the operating system, the network connection and the site zones set up by the company. If in doubt, therefore, check your clock-in and clock-out status in the app. Aziri BV cannot be held liable for incorrect or missing registrations resulting from device settings, missing permissions or force majeure.

5. Price and invoicing

The service is invoiced to the company, not to individual workers. The current price and conditions are available on our website. For workers, use of the app is free of charge.

6. Intellectual property

The app, the AutoCheckIn brand name, the logo and all underlying software remain the property of Aziri BV. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive and revocable right to use the app for as long as your account is active.

7. Liability

The service is provided «as is». To the extent permitted by law, Aziri BV limits its liability to direct damage and to the amount the company paid for the service in the period concerned. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law.

8. Termination

Your company may discontinue the service; we may suspend access in the event of misuse or non-payment. Upon termination, we continue to process your data for as long as a statutory retention obligation requires (see the privacy policy).

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of the judicial district in which Aziri BV has its registered office.

10. Data processing agreement (annex 1)

For the attendance and location data of the company's staff, Aziri BV acts as processor and the company as controller. The arrangements required for this by Article 28 GDPR are set out in the data processing agreement, which forms an integral part of these terms as annex 1. You can also download it there as a PDF.
